Roaming Around

Vatican City – State is one of the easiest country to roam. Well it is the smallest country in the world. Surrounded by Rome you can easily explore the whole country in a day or two. To pray, appreciate art or to observe history.

Museum and Art

The Vatican City – State is not only the Pope’s home and the Roman Catholic headquarter but it is also a huge museum with historic significance and a large collection of art.

There are a few balconies perfectly placed to get an amazing glimpse of the Roman landscape.

The Sistine Chapel

One of the main places to visit whilst in the Vatican is the Sistine Chapel. Popular for the paintings by famous painter Michael Angelo. Although tourists can visit this place, consideration is required as it is a chapel, there is a rule of no talking whilst in the chapel.

St Peter’s Basilica

Probably the most iconic image of the Vatican is St Peter’s Basilica the main church of the Roman Catholic faith.

The Pietà

Located in St Peter’s Basilica the Pieta is another incredible piece by renaissance sculptor Michael Angelo. Another highlight that must be seen whilst in the Vatican.
