A breath-taking small town.

Literally it was breath-taking, due to the high altittude this town was situated in a lot of our time in Ollantaytambo was in our beautiful riverside hotel trying to climatize as me and my brother fell sick, which is a usual occurrence on a visit here. However when we felt better and fit enough to roam the beauty of this town was unrivalled, truly spectacular.

…and off we go

Due to the 04:00 am departure the main purpose of our overnight stay in Ollantaytambo is the onwards journey to Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu. The train ride was a spectacular experience with beautiful views.
