The Calmest Capital

Usually when you think of Capital cities you think of hectic busy streets, jam packed roads and crowded public transports. This is what I thought Kuala Lumpur would be like but I was surprised to experience otherwise. Apart from the shopping area near KL Pavilion the city was pretty calm for a capital. A Beautiful atmosphere.

Plenty to see and do

Petronas Twin Towers

The Petronas twin towers is one of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic building. Its hard to miss this place when visiting the capital.

Menara Kuala Lumpur

The Menara Kuala Lumpur tower is another building that you must visit. You can go up in the observation deck or dine up the tower on its revolving restaurant only a few in the world.

Shopping for Everyone

Looking for a shopping spree? Kuala Lumpur would not let you down. Whatever your budget there’ll be something for you.

Greenspace in the city

If your looking a bit of a calmer walk in the middle of the city surrounded by greenspace then KL Eco Forest Park is an awesome place with a Canopy walk not for the faint hearted.

Batu Cave

Another Iconic place to visit whilst in the capital is the Batu Cave. Situated in Sengalor, you may need to book a tour or taxi but if you want to roam yourself then trains journeys are available. This place can get very busy and beware of monkeys as they are known to be aggressive at times.

Kuala Lumpur is a beautiful city to visit, a good place to relax, take it easy and unwind. A good central point or base for when excursing to other Malaysian cities.
