Koh Lipe in Thailand was a planned excursion from Langkawi Malaysia. Yes it was a little weird going from one small island to another belonging to different country by a small boat. The immigration was weird, we was just lining up in the sand in order to see the officer.

We decided to stay in Castaway which is a beachfront lodging consisting of traditional wooden beach huts. Back to basics and a great beach experience.

Roaming the Island

Koh Lipe is also probably the smallest island destination ive travelled, you can actually walk the circumference of the island within the hour. It is a diving destination, a very picturesque island especially in Sunsets and Sunrises.

The Dive

Koh Lipe is probably one of my better dives the pristine warm water and its inhabitants were amazing.

The Experience

Koh Lipe was a beautiful trip a true castaway experience. It was small and had not too many other tourists. There were pubs and bars but not a huge nightlife experience . However the main purpose of a trip here is diving or chilling.
