Places to Visit

Ilocos Norte is a province so expect a more rural lifestyle. Laoag is its capital but the neighbouring Paoay is an excellent place to excurse to.

Well Preserved Churches

One thing to see whilst in Ilocos Norte are these churches built around the Spanish Colonial era.

Sand Dune in the Philippines

One of the most unique feature of Ilocos Norte is this Sand Dune, the only one in the world. You are able to take a 4×4 tour, sand board or take an ATV.

“Travel isnt always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, even breaks your heart. But that’s ok. The journey changes you, it leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully you leave something behind”.
